Did you know that most dressmaking patterns are drafted for a B cup? Not sure about you but that’s no good for me!

Jenny Rushmore is a fantastic sewist based in Massachusetts, USA who realised we should be changing our clothes to fit our bodies rather than the other way around and found that making her own clothing not only changed her wardrobe, but her confidence too. This inspired her to launch her own brand of original patterns, Cashmerette.

Cashmerette celebrates curves, confidence and limitless style offering sewing patterns that are for sizes 12-28, with some styles available in up to size 32. Each pattern will fit bust sizes C to H, embracing the fuller figure.

There’s loads of styles to choose from and each pattern is SO versatile, making it easy to  adapt the hem lengths, sleeves and necklines to what you prefer.

New to sewing? No problem! Most of the patterns are suitable for a beginner, so Cashmerette is a great place to start! ?

Once you make and wear a garment, you’ll no doubt get comments from friends and family like ‘Where did you buy that top?’ and you can proudly tell them you made it!

You can take a look at the full range of Cashmerette patterns, including tops, trousers, leggings and dresses over on the website.

Make sure you tag us in your makes, we’d love to see! Also why not join our Facebook community, The Plush Club? See you there!
