Product DescriptionIf you are looking for a simple top that is quick to make and easy to wear, take a look at this relaxed fit Remy Raglan pattern. Although this top was designed to be worn under the Burnside Bibs and Free Range Slacks during photo shoots, it became the Remy Raglan pattern because of the interests and inquiries of the customers.
Remy Raglan top was designed and actually look its best when the sleeves are rolled up. The fit of the top is very loose and relaxed at the bust and waist. It is a short top that perfectly match high waist pants and skirts although it is not a cropped top.
Version #1 is the original plain and simple design. However, version #2 prides of a more visual interest to the front due to its split center and keyhole button closure. There are two sleeve options - short sleeve and 3/4- length sleeves and both work with either versions #1 or #2.
This top was originally designed for very light weight linen. While Remy Raglan top looks beautiful in a variety of light weight woven fabrics, this top also makes a perfect, simple backdrop to let a beautiful linen shine as well. Choosing a more rigid fabric such as cotton lawn will make the neck appear a little smaller. Likewise, the bottom hem will be a bit fuller and not drape as closely to the body.
It is important to note that fabrics that are only printed on one-side will not look as good even with the sleeves rolled up. It is best to make use of fabrics that have presentable front and back sides to take advantage of the smart rolled up sleeve look.
Recommended Fabrics: Lightweight woven fabrics such as Linen, Linen Rayon blend, Linen Viscose blend, Cotton Voile, Silk Noil, Sand-washed Silk, Cotton Gauze,
